Your Belly Fat Loss Workout

Starting a workout plan is a huge challenge. Most of what gets in our way is our own preconceived ideas and self-limiting thoughts. One of the most common myths about exercise that reduces belly fat is that you need to do extended periods of intense cardio to get fit. This is simply not true. This stops many people from even starting. The thought of day after day of grueling, high intensity excersise is dibilitating for some. Here is the truth: you only need to work out 1/2 and hour to 45mins a day! Combine this with a great diet and you will be on your way to a flat, sexy stomach.

The key is to work out the right way!

Studies show that working out in what is called “fits and starts” is the most effective way to burn excess fat around the stomach. Starting with a period of low intensity cardio and ending with a higher intensity session is the optimal way to burn fat. Some activities include: running, jogging, biking, swimming, basketball, or soccer. There are many more, but the key is to choose activities where you are activley moving the majority of the time. Do this 30-45min exercise five days a week and you will begin to see results.

Ditch the crunches

Sit ups and crunches don’t do much good either. Why? Well, the fact is that doing crunches and sit ups only builds muscle in your abdomen. Building muscle is not how you burn fat. It will actually make your stomach appear larger. The key is to find a workout plan that will help you lose the fat and then you can work on building muscle.

Get Your Mind Right

Getting fit is as much of a mental game as any. You need to get into the right mental state so that you can stay incredibly focused throughout the pain. A good way to stay focused is to have an inspirational “vision photo”. This is a photo of what you wish to look like. It can be a photo of what you used to look like when you were younger, or it can be from a magazine or a website. The key is to have a vision of where you are headed. This will keep you going forward as you lose the belly fat!
